Lake Lyndsay

Hello!

So, today me and Bryan went to Lake Lyndsay to check out their 3 buildings that could be used for a wedding ceremony and reception.  It's located a little past West Chester, about 40 mins. from our apartment.  It sits on 42 acres of beautiful lake and is truly unique.  Here are some photos that I took, plus I added some photos of it decorated that I found online.  We would be using our own caterer, we're going to ask Bryan's uncle if he'll DJ,  we're going to ask either Bryan's uncle, Karen's sister, or Doug from UPS to be our photographer...and I know Pam loves taking photos as well, we'll ask Bryan's aunt to make our cake as she does an amazing job, two co-workers of Bryan's will be our bartenders for mixed drinks, the building has 2 kegerators and a big stand up bowl for ice and wine bottles, Bryan's other uncle to make ice sculptures and an ice louge for pouring liquor into shots, we'll ask either Karen's uncle or Holly's step dad to marry us, we're going to rent ceremony chairs from Bryan's work, I'm going to be making a slideshow, however, the TV is a little small for it's location in the building, so I'm trying to come up with a solution for that, and we're going to rent a photo booth and chair covers with sashes, we'll need to purchase a lighting package of some sort, and I'm going to make the centerpieces with the help of my bridesmaids :)  There's an extended stay hotel in West Chester that will offer free shuttle service to and from Lake Lyndsay for guests who wish to stay at the hotel, discounted prices for rooms will be available with at least 15 occupied rooms, they offer studios, 1 bedroom, and 2 bedroom hotel rooms which also has seperate living areas with pull out sofas...If it rains, there are 2 backup plans for the wedding ceremony, but let's hope for a gorgeous day! We are incharge of decorating the building ourselves, but we get the building from 8am Saturday to 1am Sunday.  The lights will turn on at midninght and cleanup with start taking place.  Enjoy the photos and let me know what you think.

Entrance to Kayla's Corner, also the spot for
cocktail hour after ceremony.
Another shot of the entrance.

The front porch...if it rains, we can do the
ceremony here; if it doesn't rain, we can
have cocktail hour here.

2nd Level View

Facing the front door.

Three levels to easier seeing ability.  It is handicapped
accessible as well.

This will be very pretty in the summer!

Looking out onto the crowd.

This would either be the cocktail room if it rains or the
photo booth room.

This is the back of the candle screen and the cake table.
I would want to place a red curtain up to separate
this from the back rooms.

Two kegerators and a stand for ice and
wine bottles.

The kitchen WITH 2 ovens.
There's also a side door in there
to have the caterers come in.

The buffet room.  We can set up 2 rows
of tables like these 2 for faster service.

Another angle of the buffet room.

The TV on the 2nd level.....kind of small for
the slideshow; working on a plan for a better option.

Here are photos found on the website all set up:

I love this option for our wedding. What do you think?
